went to disneyland over 4th of july...wasn't as crowded as i thought it would be.  we rode practically every ride...here's a pic of the ladies.

jess and i played that buzz lightyear game.  we were close until then end when she found a secret target and ended up owning me.

NEW YORK - OMG! Thirteen-year-old Morgan Pozgar, of Claysburg, Pa., was crowned LG National Texting champion on Saturday after she typed "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from "Mary Poppins" in 15 seconds.

"I'm going to go shopping and buy lots of clothes," the teen said after winning her $25,000 prize from the electronics company LG.

Pozgar defeated nearly 200 other competitors at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan to become East Coast champion. She then beat West Coast champion Eli Tirosh, 21, of Los Angeles texting the message: "Supercalifragilisticexpialidoucious! Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious. If you say it loud enough you'll always sound precocious."

She estimated that she sends more than 8,000 text messages a month to her friends and family.

my heart goes out to the families whose kids/brothers/sisters were killed at virginia tech.  its crazy to think that something like that can happen.  it's even crazier to some of us because the shooter was korean.  sigh...

some happenings...

resurrection day weekend was very rewarding.  many junior high kids fasted starting friday night and broke fast sunday morning.  saturday morning, we took a handful of junior high kids and distributed goodie packages in the heart of skid row.  it was really funny...some of the kids were really scared.  here's a pic of some kids.

then after resurrection sunday, jessica and i made a quick one night trip to vegas.  other than the money we lost, the trip was really fun.  we ate good food, saw the sights, and took funny pictures like this one.

that's pretty much what is going on.  oh, i will also be quitting my job and starting a new one in a few weeks.  happy weekend everyone!

xanga sucks!  it's all about blogspot!  dang, xanga is so much easier to use, especially when you need to upload pictures and stuff.  but still, i will be stubborn and stay true to my roots.  blogspot is better!!!
